Tuomas Saukkonen is the mastermind of Wolfheart – the musical entity that allowed him to channel melodic & hopeful, acoustic & fragile, harsh black/death metal or atmospheric doom. The group’s excellent debut album could be labelled winter metal; brutal as frozen landscapes it paints on the canvas of your mind, yet beating with the warmth of a wild beast’s heart. Deep within the brutality of it all there are details like in snowflakes; intricate, beautiful. For fans of Amon Amarth & Insomni
