Composer’s Note:

I. West Side Autumns

Overlapping fragments of solfege and repertoire echo down Broadway on a
crisp, sunny day.

II. Transit Strike Commutes

Cartoon medleys for the toddler class on 18th, 5/8 grooves for a jam band on 43rd, and Boulez for a jury on 85th. The trains arent running. Snow.

III. Skyline from Washington Heights

Landscape in charcoal.
