Make way for your next concert opener: Showtime! It’s razzle, it’s dazzle, it’s Broadway, it’s…well, it’s just plain fun and exciting to sing. Modest ranges give your singers an opportunity to sound their best. Strong unison writing contrasts with solid part writing: all voices get an opportunity to shine. The lyrics, including an exciting speech choir section, are a blast. It’s classic songwriting, brought up to date for today’s choral groups by Jay Althouse. Don’t miss the showbiz style SoundTrax. Staging Suggestions are featured on Sally’s “Showtime!” video, Alfred #21176.
