Composer’s Note:

Part of an ongoing series of loosely connected piano miniatures exploring various states of vulnerability, this piece for my friend and colleague Peter Atkinson recalls a point in his pursuit of a graduate composition degree where everything felt raw, untested, unclear, undone. This has since moved on. Degree compellingly completed.
