The originality of the composer’s thought process and compositional approach is clearly evident in this meditation on the nature of time as it intersects with transcendent musical moments. Long ropes of engaging melodiesare suspended over intensely rhythmic backgrounds throughout the piece. In the composer’s words “…suddenly in this single eternal moment the walls of time’s cage fall away and as if from some high peak you catch a dizzying and joyful new glimpse of everything you could be”.
