Since childhood, Igudesman & Joo have delighted in reinventing music with imagination and humour. In Our Childhood they share personal works: Aleksey Igudesman offers four Venice-inspired pieces and Air on a Plane, while Hyung-ki Joo presents four transcriptions from his childhood album, including Lina’s Waltz. The collection is rounded off with Massenet’s Mditation, Ysae’s Rve d’enfant, and Schumann’s song Mondnacht — an album of tender beauty and quiet magic.
