If you want kids to remember something, put it in a song! That’s just what master teacher Cristi Miller has done in this clever collection of 14 original songs that teach the basics of music. Learn to apply articulations, dynamics, tempos and more, while singing lyrics that describe them – for valuable learning that lasts! Songs are short and to the point with simple actions to reinforce the concept being taught. Don’t just say staccato, sing it! Use these songs to teach, reinforce and assess throughout the year. The enclosed CD provides hands-free teaching and opportunities to sing along with recorded voices. Available: Book/CD. Suggested for Grades 1-5.
