Composer’s Note:

Love Letters Vol. 5 is part of a series of miniatures with the same title. These are love letters to the piano – the instrument I love.

Each set is written for a specific pianist, who is listed in the dedication.A quirk of the series is that each set ends with the same piece – Little Piece In Quarter Notes – which was composed in 2019 for pianist David Oei. The reprise of this final piece is the sets salutation.
