Legacy of Brutality by Misfits collects early recordings from the bands first era, drawing heavily from the material tracked for their long-shelvedStatic Age sessions. Released after the original lineup had splintered, it helped keep the groups late-70s horror-punk catalog in circulation as their audience continued to grow through underground word of mouth.

Static Age and Hybrid Moments show the bands knack for turning B-movie imagery into sharp, compact punk songs, while Where Eagles Dare and Halloween capture the chant-ready hooks that became central to their reputation. Available here on vinyl.
