The Allman Brothers second album,Idlewild South, is a mixture of chunky grooves and sophisticated textures which showcases both Gregg Allmans and Dickey Betts skills as songwriters, and features the hit Midnight Rider. It has been remastered from original analog tapes by Keven Reeves (Brothers And Sisters, The 1971 Fillmore East Recordings) to 192kHz 24-bit audio and then cut on copper plates using Abbey Road Masterings Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) lathe.
