Greatest Hits: Back to the Start by Megadeth gathers key tracks from across the bands catalog, tracing their evolution from early thrash releases through their more streamlined 1990s material. The compilation was assembled with input from fans, who voted on the track selection through the bands website.

Peace Sells and Holy Wars The Punishment Due anchor the bands politically charged early work, while Symphony of Destruction and tout le monde show how Megadeth brought sharper hooks into heavier settings. In My Darkest Hour adds one of Dave Mustaines most enduring personal songs, presented here as part of this CD collection.
