Composer’s Note:

“from Springs thaw” was composed and commissioned for Ten x Ten 2013, a collaborative program sponsored by Access Contemporary Music, Spudnik Press and organized by Homeroom Chicago.

This was a collaborative work with visual artist Aaron Maurer, depicting the slow thaw in spring with snow melting, ice dripping and rivers beginning to flow.
