ACA’s Note:

These five pieces were originally written under the title Berceuse and Other Duets for flute (or violin) and piano. There is also what we believe to be earlier version of this piece with alternate movements under the title Five Compositions for Violin (or Flute or Recorder) and Piano for Young Musicians – for example, the hopak arrangement (erroneously titledRussian Dance instead of Ukrainian Dance inFive Pieces) is not included, and a perhaps incomplete Eine Kleine Nachschrift is found instead.
