A fun and enjoyable introduction to Irish ‘Jig’ style and 6\8 meter, this is a great repertoire addition for advancing players. While staying in first position, it offers challenges of hooked bowing, several tempo fluctuations, and a coda. It is a combination of new elements while not being overly taxing, technically. The included piano part can be used as a rehearsal aid or to bolster confidence during performance.
