Fathers and Sonsby Muddy Waters pairs studio recordings with a live set, bringing the Chicago blues singer together with younger musicians including Mike Bloomfield and Paul Butterfield. The project was conceived as a meeting between Waters generation and the blues-rock players who drew heavily from his work. Cant Lose What You Aint Never Had and Im Ready revisit key parts of Waters repertoire with a full ensemble, while the live Long Distance Call and two-part Got My Mojo Working capture the concert side of the album. This edition presents the complete program on CD.
