“A new prep test for guitar. It is designed to be taken by guitarists who have been learning for a few terms. It enables pupils to practise and demonstrate important musical skills, such as sense of pitch and rhythm, controlled and even playing, accuracy and quality of tone. It contains specially-commissioned tunes and pieces, as well as everything else that the player will need to take the test. It is written in ‘child-friendly’ language and attractively presented, with entertaining illustrations and a fun page. Effective from January 2002.”
