The Manchester-based trio conjure rich atmospheric music drawing from electronica while merging acoustic and electronic techniques. The New York Times hailed them as one of the 12 best bands at SXSW 2017 – proving that they’re at home playing to muddy festival goers and jazz fans. A Humdrum Star builds on the momentum of its acclaimed predecessors, the Mercury Prize-nominated V2 (2014) and Man Made Object, and transports it to new realms.
