Winner of the 2007 TODA Composition Contest! CONTENDING presents all the ensembles’ voices in a gradually intensifying processional theme which also closes the piece. Framed in-between is a slower, lyrical chorale. A great work for intermediate full orchestras, your players will enjoy its majesty! 2.1.2.2: 4.3.3.1: Timp. Perc (4). Strings (9.8.7.6.5)
