Let’s Get It On is the landmark 1973 album by Marvin Gaye. Serving as his first venture into funk and more romantically themed music, “Let’s Get It On,” incorporated smooth soul, doo-wop and quiet storm. Noted by critics for its sexually suggestive lyrics, the single reached the top of both the Hot 100 and Top R&B charts. Cited by one writer as “one of the most sexually charged albums ever recorded,” it also features the singles “Come Get To This” and “You Sure Love To Ball.” 50th Anniversary Edition LP pressed on red vinyl.
