You might say that with Blinding Lights, superstar The Weeknd brought the sound of the ’80s bang up to date, and in doing so created one of the biggest hits of the early 2020s, featured during the halftime show of the 2021 Superbowl final, for example. The song’s driving beat and the catchy keyboard riff in the chorus inspired Anthony Groger to write this exciting arrangement for string quartet that won’t fail to make an impact.
