This extended work is a collection of spirituals with original accompaniments written in a gospel style. Performed on the CD Let It Shine by Laura English-Robinson, it received the following review by Judith Nicosia Civitano in her NATSA Journal column: Performing these pieces is like water finding its own level: natural and comfortable.
