“There are never enough superlatives to describe Nico Castel, a great artist, musician, and intellectual. He is a master of many languages. He has passion, great charm and a clever, devilish wit. In other words, he has it all. How fortunate for the music world that this master has chosen to give us the translations and phonetic pronunciation of each and every word of the four most popular operas of Richard Strauss… Nico has imparted not only his great knowledge of the German language, but the Viennese dialect as well, so essential in this sublime work. [Der Rosenkavalier]… Thank you Nico Castel! Bravissimo! Und vielen herzlichen Dank fur alles!”
