Over a period of 30 years, the editors of The New Liszt Edition painstakingly published “final versions” of Liszt’s complete piano solo catalog in two series, 44 volumes (Series I: Works for Piano Sol o and Series II: Free Arrangements and Transcriptions). The Supplement to Series I and II now presents alternative editions, along with critical notes and scholarly research. The paperback versions se rve as excellent performing editions, and each volume is also available in a handsome hardbound version. Technical Studies, Volume 2 completes the three-volume set of this title.
